Let’s get to know each other – I’ll go first

Welcome! My name is Janna Hagan and I’m a designer located in Canada.

I started my first online business when I was in Grade 8 – selling Adsense ads on my blogs. I taught myself how to code and that experience is what ultimately led me to pursue a career in web design. I’ve always had a knack for entrepreneurship and the challenges it brings.

After getting my diploma in Web Design & Marketing, I worked in tech for 9 years. It was a wonderful learning experience, but the competitive environment was quickly starting to feel like a place I no longer had any desire in navigating.

I found myself craving more independence and freedom in my career.

I began freelancing on the side while I was working, which has now blossomed into my full-time business. One of my favourite aspects of my job is taking your ideas, goals, and aspirations and turning them into a delightfully thoughtful design that truly represents you and your business.

I’ve talked to a lot of business owners who haven’t updated their website due to finances, fear, or technical frustrations.

I foster dogs from a local rescue. I’ve currently helped 5 wonderful dogs find furever homes (and counting!)

I hold a college record for most 3 pointers in a single basketball game.

I’m a bit of a bookworm. Harry Potter is my favorite series.

I’m proudly Canadian, but working with clients all over the globe.

My favorite TV show is The Office. I’m scared to know how many times I’ve actually watched it.
