Hey – I’m glad you’re here! My name is Janna and I’m a freelance web and graphic designer with almost 10 years of experience. I’ve worked with people from all over the globe including companies like Shopify and The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
I have a background in both design & marketing, and bring a practical mix of both to each project. Let’s get to know each other.
So how does this work?

Inquiry
The first step is to make sure we’d be a good fit for each other. Before we hop on a call, I’ll ask for more details about your business, budget, and timelines to make sure we are aligned on expectations!

Prior project
Once I’ve got the green light to go ahead, a proposal and contract will be signed and a 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in my schedule. At this stage, I’ll also need you to fill out a detailed questionnaire so we can formulate a design strategy specific to you.

Creative kickoff
This is where you can sit back and relax! I begin the creative work at this stage (this is where everything starts to come together). I will be sending through your design proof for your first round of revisions.

Website build
Once the design has been approved, we’ll move onto bringing it to life! Once the development is complete, we’ll go through your website with a fine-tooth comb before launch day.

Finishing touches
Once all changes have been implemented and approved, I will be sending through the final invoice. When final payment is made, all design assets and source files will be released and sent to you.

After project
Congrats! Your website is now done. I’ll be providing you with support with any questions you may have once the project is completed.

How much will it cost to design my website? +

How far in advance do I need to book you? +
I work with clients on a first-come, first-serve basis to keep an organized schedule. Usual lead time is about 4 weeks to appropriately plan for your project, but the sooner the better!
How do I know you’ll create something I like? +
Between the in-depth questionnaire and multiple touch-points where we work together to clarify the aesthetic and style you’re looking for, 99% of the time one round of revisions is enough to achieve your vision. For website design, I always get your approval on the homepage before moving on so we can course correct if needed.
How long will it take to make my website? +
Most website design and builds take between 3-4 weeks to complete. If information isn’t sent to me in a timely manner it can delay your project.
Can you do my branding, logo design, or write my website content? +
Sorry, I do not offer these services. I can help you connect with some talented copywriters or logo designers in my network.
Can we hop on a quick call to discuss my project? +
For sure! But first, I require all potential clients to fill out my contact form so I can get some basic details like what your business does, budget, and timeline to make sure we’d be a good fit before we get on a call.
Do you offer payment plans? +
All my projects require a 50% upfront deposit to secure your spot in my schedule. The remaining 50% will be due when the work has been completed.
Will you lower your rates? +
No. My pricing is a reflection of the value and skills I bring to the table. My services are priced fairly in terms of industry standard. That being said, I’m always willing to work within your budget it just might change how much work I can do for you.
I need my project done right away. Can you help me?+
It depends. Proper design work requires ample time and research. Giving yourself enough time ultimatley will give you a better finished product. If I have time in my schedule, I can sometimes accommodate jobs with tight deadlines.
What’s required of me before we get started? +
Ideally, you'd have a pretty solid idea of what you're looking for before approaching me. Having all your website content and any assets ready to go (brand guidelines, product photography, logo files, etc.) is also great!
